Gabriella's laparoscopic endometriosis surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After gallstones with repeated infections, Gabriella was cleared for laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Gabriella was diagnosed with gallstones with repeated infections in July. The surgeon at Saint Joseph Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $7,500, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $6,000 short.
my mother has been in and out of Saint Joseph Hospital since July. The doctors say gallstones with repeated infections will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $7,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Gabriella struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Gabriella won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $6,000 goes:
• Travel and lodging for the family: $380
• Post-operative medication: $300
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $1,850
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $540
• Hospital stay (2 nights): $2,930
Glad we found this place.
