Ga-eun can't leave home - help build a ramp
Help Ga-eun regain independence: a simple ramp build.
๐ฐ๐ท Gyeonggi, South Korea209 views
Ga-eun has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Ga-eun can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate ten hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Ga-eun's family will cook lunch for the team.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thanks for sharing this, Yong-jun. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
