Furkan's early-stage lung cancer treatment fund
Furkan is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Furkan was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in August. The oncology team at Üsküdar Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Furkan is 32, worked as a bank teller until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Üsküdar Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $860
• Transport to Üsküdar Cancer Centre: $120
• Scans and lab work: $320
