Danjuma, my uncle, passed away on 12 May after a road accident. He was 84 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 27 May. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Danjuma to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program. Where the $650 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $330 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $200 • Transport of the deceased: $50 • Memorial gathering for the family: $70 Every share and every dollar helps.
