Funeral costs for Yolanda's uncle, Sergio
Sergio passed away on 13 September; we are raising $3,650 for a respectful funeral in Málaga.

Sergio, my uncle, passed away on 13 September after a sudden heart attack. He was 32 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 26 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Sergio to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Funeral home services and casket: $2,550
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $965

So sorry you're going through this, Yolanda. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
