Daniel, my husband, passed away on 15 June after complications from pneumonia. He was 92 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 30 June.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Daniel to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $230
• Transport of the deceased: $65
