Funeral costs for Wanjiru's father, Njoroge
Wanjiru lost her father suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $450.

Njoroge, my father, passed away on 21 September after a short illness. He was 75 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 30 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Njoroge to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Mbale hospice.

• Funeral home services and casket: $280
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $115
• Transport of the deceased: $20
• Memorial gathering for the family: $35
