Sipho, my brother, passed away on 18 September after a sudden heart attack. He was 58 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $850 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 1 October. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Sipho to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $850 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $430 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $250 • Transport of the deceased: $95 • Memorial gathering for the family: $75 Thank you so much.

    • Sending strength. Hope this works out for you. Sent it to 40 people at work. Love from Dnipro.

Sending strength, Vusi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.

        • hope it all works out. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.

          • Stay strong, Vusi. This could happen to any of us.
