Funeral costs for Sudhakar's husband, Dhanush
Dhanush passed away on 28 June; we're raising $750 for a respectful funeral in Nagpur.
🇮🇳 Nagpur, Maharashtra, India242 views
Dhanush, my husband, passed away on 28 June after complications from pneumonia. He was 65 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 9 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Dhanush to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $750 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $510
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $180
• Transport of the deceased: $30
• Memorial gathering for the family: $30
Every share and every dollar helps.

thanks for sharing this. Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Badagry.
Good luck, Sudhakar. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Hope things get better soon. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Sent it to 23 people at work. Thinking of Nagpur
sending strength, Sudhakar. Looking forward to the next update. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
Stay strong, Sudhakar. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
