Funeral costs for Sophia's uncle, Jacob
After the sudden passing of Jacob, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Jacob, my uncle, passed away on 7 June after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 73 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $5,350 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 12 June.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Jacob to have a dignified farewell.

The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,950
• Transport of the deceased: $580
• Memorial gathering for the family: $470
