Lillian, my wife, passed away on 9 June after complications from pneumonia. She was 37 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 23 June. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Lillian to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $3,450 goes: • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,500 • Funeral home services and casket: $1,800 • Memorial gathering for the family: $150 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
