Travis, my father, passed away on 23 September after a stroke. He was 32 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 10 October. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Travis to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank. Where the $4,750 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $2,300 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,600 • Transport of the deceased: $440 • Memorial gathering for the family: $410 Thank you so much.
