Douglas, my husband, passed away on 29 April after a stroke. He was 59 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,150 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 10 May. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Douglas to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the El Paso hospice. Where the $4,150 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $2,400 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,150 • Transport of the deceased: $210 • Memorial gathering for the family: $390 Thanks for reading all this.
