Anan, my grandfather, passed away on 19 August after complications from pneumonia. He was 65 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $800 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 31 August. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Anan to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank. Where the $800 goes: • Transport of the deceased: $100 • Memorial gathering for the family: $125 • Funeral home services and casket: $575 I hope life is good to you.
