Funeral costs for Pavithra's grandfather, Shankar

Shankar, my grandfather, passed away on 5 September after a stroke. He was 93 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $800 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 25 September. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Shankar to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
