Jack, my father, passed away on 13 July after complications from pneumonia. He was 23 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 25 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Jack to have a dignified farewell.

The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Funeral home services and casket: $2,650
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $500
• Transport of the deceased: $210
• Memorial gathering for the family: $390
