Funeral costs for Nadine's uncle, Peter
After the sudden passing of Peter, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Peter, my uncle, passed away on 12 August after a stroke. He was 84 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 20 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Peter to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $650
• Transport of the deceased: $410

Sure. The biggest one is funeral home services and casket, $3,250. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Fair thing to want to know.
