Ahmet, my grandfather, passed away on 23 September after a road accident. He was 68 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 9 October. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Ahmet to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Antalya hospice. Where the $1,450 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $760 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $500 • Transport of the deceased: $135 • Memorial gathering for the family: $55 Thanks for reading all this. - Melek
