Funeral costs for Maya's father, Bikash
Bikash passed away on 27 September; we're raising $700 for a respectful funeral in Biratnagar.

Bikash, my father, passed away on 27 September after a stroke. He was 75 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $700 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 8 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Bikash to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $700 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $420
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $125
• Transport of the deceased: $70
• Memorial gathering for the family: $85
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
