Funeral costs for Maxime's husband, Clément
After the sudden passing of Clément, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Clément, my husband, passed away on 22 September after a short illness. He was 92 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 10 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Clément to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.
Where the $4,600 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $3,600
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $500
• Transport of the deceased: $220
• Memorial gathering for the family: $280
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

How is Maxime doing now?
Best of luck, Maxime. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
Hope things get better soon, Maxime. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Birmingham
Good luck, Maxime. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't give up
Thinking of you and your family. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Marseille
Praying for you, Maxime. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
