Iztapalapa
Víctor, my husband, passed away on 23 October after a short illness. He was 85 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $950 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 29 October. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Víctor to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Iztapalapa hospice. Where the $950 goes: • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $400 • Funeral home services and casket: $450 • Memorial gathering for the family: $100 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Mateo

Sending strength, Mateo. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I hope December is when things finally get easier. All the best.
