Funeral costs for Marieke's father, Sem
After the sudden passing of Sem, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Sem, my father, passed away on 19 May after complications from pneumonia. He was 54 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 27 May.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Sem to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Amsterdam hospice.

• Memorial gathering for the family: $200
• Funeral home services and casket: $1,800
