Balaji, my brother, passed away on 20 July after a road accident. He was 74 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,000 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 9 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Balaji to have a dignified farewell.
