Funeral costs for Juan's brother, José
Juan lost his brother suddenly and the family cannot cover funeral and burial costs of $1,600.

José, my brother, passed away on 19 September after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 35 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 9 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want José to have a dignified farewell.

Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
