Ariana, my sister, passed away on 2 April after a sudden heart attack. She was 82 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,900 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 13 April. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Ariana to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the San Jose hospice. Where the $1,900 goes: • Transport of the deceased: $420 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,350 • Memorial gathering for the family: $130 Please ask me anything in the questions section.
