Benjamin, my grandfather, passed away on 23 April after a short illness. He was 63 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $700 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 7 May. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Benjamin to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $700 goes: • Transport of the deceased: $85 • Funeral home services and casket: $560 • Memorial gathering for the family: $55 Glad we found this place.
