Funeral costs for Ife's husband, Chinedu
Chinedu passed away on 12 July; we're raising $750 for a respectful funeral in Ibadan.

Chinedu, my husband, passed away on 12 July after a stroke. He was 59 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 25 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Chinedu to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Funeral home services and casket: $440
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $230
• Transport of the deceased: $45
• Memorial gathering for the family: $35

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. funeral home services and casket comes first ($440) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.
