Sophie, my sister, passed away on 20 September after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 25 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,550 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 30 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Sophie to have a dignified farewell.

Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Cleveland hospice.
