Arthur, my brother, passed away on 7 March after a sudden heart attack. He was 60 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,500 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 27 March. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Arthur to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Ribeirão Preto hospice. Where the $1,500 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $1,050 • Transport of the deceased: $50 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $400 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Heloísa
