Funeral costs for Geetha's father, Venkat
After the sudden passing of Venkat, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.
🇮🇳 India722 views
Venkat, my father, passed away on 19 August after complications from pneumonia. He was 57 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 3 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Venkat to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Pune hospice.
Where the $750 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $540
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $110
• Transport of the deceased: $35
• Memorial gathering for the family: $65
Thanks for reading all this.

Hope you get there. My neighbor in Cầu Giấy donated after I showed her your page. Love from Cầu Giấy.
Thinking of you and your family, Geetha. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best!
Sending strength, Geetha. Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Södertälje
Rooting for you, Geetha. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Blessings!
You're not alone, Geetha. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
