Ayelet, my grandmother, passed away on 18 November after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 66 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,150 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 2 December. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Ayelet to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $3,150 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $1,300 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,400 • Transport of the deceased: $170 • Memorial gathering for the family: $280 Thanks for being kind about this.
