Funeral costs for Durga's sister, Kamala
Kamala passed away on 14 June; we're raising $800 for a respectful funeral in Lalitpur.

Kamala, my sister, passed away on 14 June after a stroke. She was 62 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $800 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 25 June.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Kamala to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Lalitpur hospice.
Where the $800 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $430
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $210
• Transport of the deceased: $75
• Memorial gathering for the family: $85

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. funeral home services and casket comes first ($430) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
