Funeral costs for Chathurika's grandfather, Janaka
Janaka passed away on 21 August; we're raising $1,150 for a respectful funeral in Negombo.

Janaka, my grandfather, passed away on 21 August after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 44 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,150 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 7 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Janaka to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Negombo hospice.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $310
• Funeral home services and casket: $780
• Transport of the deceased: $60
