Jonathan, my grandfather, passed away on 23 September after a sudden heart attack. He was 67 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $6,150 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 28 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Jonathan to have a dignified farewell.

Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the San Francisco hospice.
