Tariq, my brother, passed away on 21 September after a sudden heart attack. He was 22 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 7 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Tariq to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Funeral home services and casket: $1,950
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $770
• Transport of the deceased: $640
• Memorial gathering for the family: $290
