Funeral costs for Anna's grandfather, Stepan
Stepan passed away on 22 August; we're raising $1,650 for a respectful funeral in Kazan.

Stepan, my grandfather, passed away on 22 August after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 83 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 6 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Stepan to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Kazan hospice.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $1,000
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $460
• Transport of the deceased: $70
• Memorial gathering for the family: $120
