Funeral costs for Amir's sister, Malak
Malak passed away on 22 August; we're raising $1,200 for a respectful funeral in Salé.

Malak, my sister, passed away on 22 August after a stroke. She was 48 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,200 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 3 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Malak to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Funeral home services and casket: $740
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $300
• Transport of the deceased: $50
• Memorial gathering for the family: $110
