Yvonne, my mother, passed away on 18 September after a sudden heart attack. She was 28 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $850 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 9 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Yvonne to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Accra hospice.

• Transport of the deceased: $40
• Memorial gathering for the family: $35
