Rahul, my brother, passed away on 8 June after a road accident. He was 87 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 27 June. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Rahul to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Aurangabad hospice. Where the $600 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $280 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $260 • Transport of the deceased: $30 • Memorial gathering for the family: $30 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
