Fumiko needs a powered wheelchair that the health system won't fund; the cost is $5,050.

Fumiko lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Setagaya Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,050.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Fumiko could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
