Friendly visitor needed for an 89-year-old neighbor in Peshawar

I'm writing for my neighbor Hussain, who's 89. Hussain lives alone in Peshawar, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away. Hussain loves birdwatching, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Tuesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
