Friendly visitor needed for an 83-year-old neighbor in Soweto
Looking for a friendly person in Soweto to visit Brandon once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Brandon, who's 83. Brandon lives alone in Soweto, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives 372 kilometers away.
Brandon loves old films, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Sunday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
