Friendly visitor needed for a 91-year-old neighbor in Surat

I'm writing for my neighbor Joya, who's 91. Joya lives alone in Surat, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country. Joya loves chess, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
