Looking for a friendly person in Aberdeen to visit Sathi once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Sathi, who's 79. Sathi lives alone in Aberdeen, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives 428 kilometers away.
Sathi loves crossword puzzles, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
