Friendly visitor needed for a 75-year-old neighbor in Newcastle

I'm writing for my neighbor Natalie, who's 75. Natalie lives alone in Newcastle, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives 613 kilometers away. Natalie loves gardening, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Tuesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
