Friendly visitor needed for a 75-year-old neighbor in El Paso

I'm writing for my neighbor Hailey, who's 75. Hailey lives alone in El Paso, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives several hours away. Hailey loves local history, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
