Friendly visitor needed for a 74-year-old neighbor in Nottingham

I'm writing for my neighbor Lauren, who's 74. Lauren lives alone in Nottingham, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country. Lauren loves crossword puzzles, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Tuesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting.
