Friendly visitor needed for a 73-year-old neighbor in Tallahassee

I'm writing for my neighbor Wesley, who's 73. Wesley lives alone in Tallahassee, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away. Wesley loves knitting, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
