Friendly visitor needed for a 72-year-old neighbor in Kawasaki
Ayumi lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Ayumi, who's 72. Ayumi lives alone in Kawasaki, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Ayumi loves knitting, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Friday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Best of luck, Nanami. Shared it with a few friends. I hope November is when things finally get easier. God bless.
Your post was clear and honest. My husband and I read this together. God bless!
Hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Rohini
Hope you get there. It's not much but it's yours.
you're not alone, Nanami. Hope the doctors have good news. We're a small family in Khulna but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
So sorry you're going through this, Nanami. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
