Fresno wildfire relief - the Riverside district
The wildfire damaged 44 homes in the Riverside district. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The wildfire hit the Riverside district on 15 August. My home was one of 44 damaged, and 14 families are still in temporary shelter at the local school gym.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $8,350 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $3,000
• Clean water and purification supplies: $920
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $990
• Food parcels for displaced families: $1,850
• Tools and labor for repairs: $1,590
Thank you so much.

Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Fresno
thinking of you and your family. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Ahmedabad.
Wishing you the best. Hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Fresno

hope it all works out, Ana. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 29 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
